  • What broke. Batches did not show while scanning an item in GRN.
  • Why it broke. This release changed the schema. For a batch product, the new services expect product type on advice_details. Advice created before the release did not have that value.
  • Why it shipped. The upgrade migration applied the schema changes and did not seed product type on existing advice_details. Batch product was treated as an edge case and left out of that migration.
  • What closed this case. Product type was seeded for Popees and for every other tenant that uses batch.

POPEESBABYCPLTD		Saving a user edit failed with “master role not found”. Some actions stayed blocked even with the permission already granted. Closed once on 9 Oct; the customer said the error was still there. Closed again on 10 Oct.

  • What broke. Saving a user edit failed with “master role not found”.
  • Why it broke. The new service checks that a role exists in both the master schema and the tenant schema. Custom roles were only in the tenant schema, so the check failed.
  • Why it shipped. The earlier service did not check roles in both schemas. Existing custom roles were never written to master data.
  • What closed this case. The missing roles were seeded, and the master check was removed.
  • Long term. Roles are maintained only in the tenant schema, so the master check was redundant.

  • Why it broke. The GRN header table schema changed in this release. The export service call still used the old schema reference.
  • Why it shipped. The schema change was not carried into the export service call.
  • What closed this case. The schema reference in the export service call was updated.

  • What broke. Duplicate GRN advices were created for Popees.
  • Why it broke. The autoAdviceCreation creation policy was set to true for the tenant.
  • What closed this case. The policy was set to false, and the duplicate advice data was corrected.
  • Long term. The migration checklist has been updated with this check, so future customer movement does not face this issue.

Modules and changes

Console

Advice

Save, update, publish, list, and list by store. Open a summary and its lines, including packet lines. Void, cancel, and void an inbound advice. Create an advice from inbound data, validate that data in chunks, and load the store list for the advice.

Batch

List batches.

Conversion

Create a conversion from inbound data, open one conversion, list conversions, and read the lines.

Feature flags

The console asks for the flags of the signed-in tenant. Other tenants' flags are not sent to the browser.

GRN

Create, update, list, summarise, and void a goods receipt. Delete a draft. Post lines with product tax, batch and serial activation, and stock. Create a GRN from inbound data. Read the default config and the default policy. The document is stored on grn_headers.

GRT

Create, update, list, summarise, and void a goods return. Delete a draft. Calculate tax, line price, and supply price. Open a packet and expand it onto the return lines. Post stock, and roll the packet and the stock movement back on void. Create a return from inbound data. Raise an SST destination advice from the return.

GSTIN

Create a GSTIN from inbound data.

HSN

List, save, summarise, delete, and receive HSN codes from inbound. Export a template, validate a file, and save in bulk.

Invoice

List invoices and open an invoice summary from the console.

Onboarding

Start onboarding and read its status.

Packet

Create, update, list, summarise, seal, and void a packet. Delete a draft. Read the policy and the lines. The document is stored on packet headers.

Print

Print a GRN, a GRT, a packet, or a stock-point transfer.

Replenishment

Allocate from a source, update an allocation, and list replenishment for that source, its suppliers, and its stores. Create a replenishment from inbound data.

Stock point transfer

Create, update, list, and summarise a transfer. Delete a draft. Read the policy and the lines, and post the stock.

Supply price book

Create, update, open, list, and delete a price book. Create one from inbound data. Add, update, and delete exception rows.

Tax

Maintain tax categories, rates, groups, and group presets. Each can be listed, saved, summarised, and deleted. Categories, rates, and groups also accept inbound. A category shows its HSN mappings. A group shows its slabs and rate mappings, and its status can be updated. A preset shows its detail rows.

UDF

View the custom fields on a record, including as a data table.

User

Save a user, accept a user webhook, and build the user request that webhook sends.

Login

Zwing login is closed. From this release, sign-in is through SSO only.
